About The Position
Art of Modern Dentistry is looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in New Berlin, WI! We are looking for a dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of hands-on dental assisting experience who is ready to contribute to a positive, patient-focused practice. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a comfortable and informed patient experience.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and clinical terminology
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient safety and infection control
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control guidelines
- Take dental X-rays as needed and permitted by applicable credentials
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient patient care
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
