Requirements

Dental Assistant experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
Valid X-ray certificate.
Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
CPR & first aid certificate.
Strong communication and patient care skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience

Nice To Haves

EFDA certification strongly preferred
Experience with Open Dental software preferred
Experience with digital dentistry and iTero scanners is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist doctors chairside during a wide variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure efficient patient flow
Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Educate patients on treatment and post-operative instructions
Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, clear aligner, and surgical procedures
Perform expanded functions (EFDA duties) when permitted by certification and state regulations
Support sterilization and infection control protocols
Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members
