Requirements
- Prior dental assisting experience (formal U.S. training/certification is a plus, not required).
- Candidates who are dentists trained outside the U.S. or experienced dentists from other countries pursuing a clinical/assisting pathway are welcome.
- Strong customer interaction and sales closing skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
- Focused, quick learner, organized, punctual.
- Familiarity with common dental software, digital X-rays, sterilization protocols, and basic charting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare rooms, assist during procedures, take digital X-rays/impressions, sterilize instruments, and uphold OSHA/CDC standards.
- Greet patients warmly, set expectations, explain procedures, and answer questions with empathy to build trust.
- Support the dentist and front desk to present next steps, address objections, and encourage patients to start/complete treatment.
- Review treatment plans, help coordinate follow-ups, support financial conversations, and guide patients to book.
- Maintain a spotless, well-stocked operatory; document accurately in the PMS; stay on time and on task.
- Learn fast, take feedback, and cross-train across front and back office as needed.
