About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is hiring a traveling Dental Assistant to support its dental team and provide patient care. The position follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at five locations: Regency in Brandon, Downtown and Carrollwood in Tampa, Land O' Lakes, and Pasadena in St. Petersburg. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments, helps maintain a clean and organized environment, educates patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and supports dentists during procedures. The role also includes performing basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist's guidance, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Requirements

For Florida, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays, including an FDOH Permit to expose X-rays, are required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.
