Mauthe & Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Fond du Lac, WI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Requirements

Prior dental assisting experience
One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
