About The Position

WE ARE SEEKING A SKILLED AND COMPASSIONATE DENTAL ASSISTANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL SUPPORT OUR DENTISTS IN PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY PATIENT CARE BY ASSISTING DURING PROCEDURES, PREPARING TREATMENT ROOMS, AND ENSURING A COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR PATIENTS. THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND A COMMITMENT TO PATIENT-CENTERED CARE.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program required.
• Current Radiology Certification (X-ray license) in California required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
• Manage dental supply inventory and restock as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments and assist with front desk duties as necessary.
