About The Position
The Dental Assistant assists the Dentist in delivery of patient care. Organizes dental clinic equipment and materials. coordinates operating room cases and assists staff dentists. Enhances professional development through participating in inservices and continuing education programs. The Dental Assistant Assists dentist in delivery of patient care. Communicates with physicians, dentists, nursing staff, and ancillary hospital personnel, patients and patients’ families.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent.
- Virginia Dental Radiation Safety certificate; AHA BLS-HCP required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
