About the Opportunity As a Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside General Dentists to provide comprehensive dental care for our Veteran population. You'll support a wide variety of procedures while ensuring patient comfort, maintaining the highest infection prevention standards, and helping deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program
  • Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
  • Current Dental Radiology Certificate
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to successfully complete the AMI credentialing process
  • Ability to complete an I-9 form and provide relevant documentation of identity and work eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside General Dentists to provide comprehensive dental care for our Veteran population.
  • Support a wide variety of procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort.
  • Maintain the highest infection prevention standards.
  • Help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
  • Utilize appropriate methods for interacting effectively and professionally with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural socioeconomic, educational, racial, and ethnic, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities.
  • Deliver targeted, culturally appropriate information to help individuals and groups understand health promotion and disease prevention information, policies, regulations, and local code.
