About the Opportunity As a Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside General Dentists to provide comprehensive dental care for our Veteran population. You'll support a wide variety of procedures while ensuring patient comfort, maintaining the highest infection prevention standards, and helping deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Current Dental Radiology Certificate
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to successfully complete the AMI credentialing process
- Ability to complete an I-9 form and provide relevant documentation of identity and work eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside General Dentists to provide comprehensive dental care for our Veteran population.
- Support a wide variety of procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain the highest infection prevention standards.
- Help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
- Utilize appropriate methods for interacting effectively and professionally with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural socioeconomic, educational, racial, and ethnic, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities.
- Deliver targeted, culturally appropriate information to help individuals and groups understand health promotion and disease prevention information, policies, regulations, and local code.
