About The Position
We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant (experienced) who is an energetic team player! We are an established private family practice located on E 56th St in New York. We have an excellent team environment led by an amazing Doctor and our focus is our patients and our team!
Requirements
- Active CPR Certification
- Radiology/X-Ray Certification
- Available to work practice hours as needed Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Supports patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
- Supports patient care by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
- Adept at pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts and fabricating aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.
- Provides information to and educates patients by answering questions and requests.
- Cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
- Anticipates doctor's needs in set-ups, suction, and the passing of instruments and materials.
- Documents dental care services by thorough charting in patient records.
- Adeptness in Intra Oral photography
- Ensures OSHA compliance with the sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms
- Contributes to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition
