About The Position
Fairmont Family Dental is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We’re a patient-focused, modern practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering high-quality care. The schedule for this full-time benefits eligible position is Tuesday – Friday + 1–2 Saturdays per month, approximately 28–32 hours per week. Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Familiarity with clear aligner cases and implant procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession
- Valid X-ray certificate
- Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements)
- CPR & first aid certificate
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Open Dental (preferred)
- Experience with iTero scanner (a strong plus)
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of procedures
- Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
- Take digital X-rays and impressions
- Support procedures including clear aligners and dental implants
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
- Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience
