About The Position

Lakeview Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant in Manitowoc, WI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Requirements

One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
