Smile Mississippi, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant Team Lead in Jackson, MS and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. This innovative in-school dental program offers a work-life balance with a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends. Requirements

• X-ray License
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• CPR certified
• Work experience as a Dental Assistant
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willing to travel
• Works well with children
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, organized, punctual
• Computer skills – Microsoft office applications
• Great people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & Children
• Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray Imaging
• Patient Records Charting
• Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Travel Daily to and from school sites
• Responsible for driving company vehicle
• Must be willing to travel daily
• Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each day
• Order supplies, sterilizing instruments, spore testing
• Responsible for back office duties
• Keep van & equipment in good condition
