Colorado Dental Group is an established general dentistry practice located near the Garden of the Gods. We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join us part-time. We are a fun, energetic, and cohesive team led by two fantastic dentists who are approachable, collaborative, and supportive of their team. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant is required
- Active CPR Certification required
- X-Ray Certification Required
Nice To Haves
- Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) Certification preferred
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Genuinely welcome patients into the practice and ensure their comfort
- Assist the dentist chairside as a a dental assistant or EDDA with a variety of dental procedures
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Setup and breakdown of operatories
- Sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA regulations
- Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
- Assist with stocking and ordering inventory
