About The Position

Standley Lake Family Dental is an established general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join our team full-time. This is a 4 day per week position providing you with long weekends and a great work life balance! Our practice is home to a fantastic doctor who genuinely cares about her patients and a supportive, upbeat team which makes coming to work enjoyable. Schedule: We have a rotating schedule alternating Mondays and Fridays. Requirements

2+ years of experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry required
Active CPR Certification required
X-Ray Certification Required

Nice To Haves

EDDA experience and certification preferred
Dental Assistant Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
Assist the dentist chairside
A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
Provide post-operative instructions
Order and stock supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
