Requirements

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license, demonstrating professional credentials and expertise.
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program with a minimum of 900 contact hours, ensuring a solid educational foundation.
At least 4 years of professional experience in dental assisting, providing practical industry knowledge.
Degree or post-secondary education as required by state and accreditation standards.

Nice To Haves

Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory, with a willingness to develop instructional skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective instruction in classroom and laboratory settings, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
Develop and maintain lesson plans, instructional materials, and equipment to support student learning objectives.
Monitor and record student attendance, assess performance, and submit timely and accurate reports.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom and lab environments to facilitate effective learning experiences.
Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and accreditation standards.
Participate actively in faculty development programs, departmental meetings, and other assigned institutional responsibilities.
