About The Position

This position assists the Dentist at chairside during patient examinations and treatment. It also involves assisting in the dental lab and performing clerical duties related to the dental program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• New Mexico Board of Dental Health Care certification in Dental Radiography, Rubber Cup Coronal Polishing, Application of Topical Fluoride, and Pit and Fissure Sealant Application. Certifications must be obtained by the date of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• BLS/CPR certification upon hire, meeting the requirements in the referenced training resources; certifications must be kept current.
• Complete required post-offer testing and immunizations under PMS Human Resources Policy 205.006, including TB, Hepatitis B (consent or waiver), Tdap, MMR, and Varicella. Influenza vaccination is required according to dates set by the CDC and NMDOH.
