Requirements

  • Current CPR Certification (required).
  • Current Coronal Polishing Certification (required).
  • Current Dental Radiography/X-Ray Certification (required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in dental assisting procedures, instrument handling, and clinical workflows.
  • Thorough understanding of infection control guidelines, sterilization protocols, and OSHA standards.
  • Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing dental team.
  • A growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning advanced dental procedures and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional chairside assistance during restorative, surgical, and cosmetic procedures while anticipating the doctor's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Assist with advanced procedures including Invisalign®, root canal therapy, and same-day CEREC CAD/CAM crowns and milling technology.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
  • Capture high-quality dental radiographs while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative instructions, and treatment recommendations to support optimal oral health.
  • Accurately document patient information, treatment notes, and dental charts within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Follow all sterilization, disinfection, infection control, and OSHA protocols to ensure the highest standard of patient safety.
  • Assist with appointment coordination, confirmations, and schedule management as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to promote efficient patient flow and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Support our diverse patient population by helping create an inclusive, welcoming experience for every patient and family we serve.
  • Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude while contributing to a fun, energetic, and supportive culture.
