About The Position
We're looking for a skilled, motivated DA to join our Gastonia team at Dentistry of the Carolinas - a growing, patient-centered practice committed to excellence and a supportive work environment. This position requires professional appearance standards consistent with our office policy, which will be discussed during the interview process. Background checks are conducted through Checkr through a separate email invitation during the interview process.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience
- Dental Assisting, CPR, and X-ray certifications preferred
- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software and digital radiography a plus
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is a true team player
Responsibilities
- Assist with crowns & bridgework, extractions, restorative procedures, impressions, and fabricating temporaries
- Deliver confident four-handed dentistry and anticipate the doctor's needs
- Build real rapport with patients and make their experience comfortable and positive
- Maintain treatment rooms, manage inventory, and support smooth daily clinic flow
- Perform accurate lab work and equipment maintenance
