We are up-to-date on all the latest technology, offer both general and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign, and sedation for our oral surgeries. We are looking for an energetic team member to join our fast paced, growing practice where we offer dental benefits, health insurance, 401K, and bonuses. We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification.
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
- Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols
- Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
- Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems
- Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols
- Help manage and confirm patient appointments
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support
