We are actively seeking to hire a full-time Dental Assistant for all locations. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant I, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental care to our young patients while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. This position requires the flexibility to travel to one or more locations as needed, ensuring consistent support across all practices.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with children and their families
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to travel to different practice locations as needed

Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures, including cleanings, examinations, and treatments
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment for each patient appointment
- Comfort and communicate effectively with pediatric patients, calming any anxieties and ensuring a positive dental experience
- Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Educate parents and guardians on proper oral hygiene techniques for children and provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, charting, and progress notes
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to meet infection control standards
- Collaborate with the front office staff to schedule appointments
- Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel to various practice locations as required.
