Requirements

  • Two years of previous dental assisting experience with restorative procedures is preferred.
  • You provide excellent patient care, are willing to assist wherever needed, and have EFDA certification—a plus, but not required.
  • Patient-Centered: You genuinely enjoy building relationships and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credentials are a plus.
  • Experience with Invisalign and attachment placement is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable using dental technology, including digital X-rays, digital scanning, intraoral and extraoral photography, and practice management software such as EagleSoft.
  • Dependable: You stay organized, take initiative, and are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Eager to grow and develop in your profession.
  • Collaborative: You value teamwork, maintain high professional standards, and enjoy contributing to a supportive, close-knit practice where everyone is committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during restorative and other clinical procedures, including provisional crowns and expanded functions if EFDA certified.
  • Prepare patients for treatment by helping them feel comfortable, explaining procedures, and delivering an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
  • Set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that supports efficient, high-quality care.
  • Capture digital X-rays, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs while accurately charting treatment and maintaining patient records.
  • Support digital dentistry workflows, including Invisalign procedures, digital scanning, and other advanced dental technologies.
  • Place fillings and perform expanded functions as permitted by your EFDA certification, as one of many responsibilities that contribute to exceptional patient care throughout your day.
  • Collaborate with the entire team by stepping in where needed, communicating effectively, and contributing to the welcoming, drama-free culture our patients and team appreciate every day.
