American Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our Downtown Loop team. We are seeking someone with 1-2+ years of dental assisting experience who is confident clinically, organized, and excited to support a modern, patient-focused dental office. Requirements

1-2+ years of dental assisting experience required
Strong clinical assisting skills
Interest or experience in leadership, training, or back office operations
Excellent communication and organization skills
A positive, professional attitude
Dedication to patient care and team success

Nice To Haves

Dentrix Ascend knowledge is a plus, but training can be provided

Responsibilities

Assisting doctors during dental procedures
Preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining clinical flow
Managing inventory and supply orders
Supporting excellent customer service for patients and doctors
Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient back office
Working closely with the front desk and clinical team
Supporting training and onboarding for new assistants as the practice continues to grow
Leading by example with professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude
