About The Position

Rosenberg Children's Dentistry is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and certified/registered Dental Assistant who enjoys creating positive experiences for children and their families. The role involves assisting dentists, performing specific procedures like coronal polishing and sealants, preparing treatment rooms, and educating patients and caregivers on oral health.

Requirements

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Current Texas X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polishing Certification
• Sealant Certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Pediatric dental experience
• Experience with Denticon
• 2+ year of dental assisting experience
• Orthodontics experience

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during treatment procedures
• Perform coronal polishing and sealants according to certification requirements
• Take dental radiographs
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
• Help children feel comfortable and confident during their visit
• Educate patients and caregivers on oral health
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Support a positive and efficient patient experience
