About The Position

As an Area Manager, you will be a key driver of performance and growth across your assigned territory. You’ll lead operational excellence initiatives, own full profit and loss responsibility, and develop, mentor, and advance future leaders—while ensuring each practice operates efficiently, compliantly, and at peak performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of dental management experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams in multi-unit or multi-practice environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory, up to 75%.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and analyze revenue performance, operational workflows, and expense controls across all assigned practices.
  • Partner with Office Managers to review daily production schedules, ensuring optimal staffing and cost efficiency.
  • Develop, train, and lead teams using established operating principles, policies, and best practices.
  • Identify root causes of under-performance through data analysis and reporting; design and execute corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with Office Managers and the Director of Operations to resolve cost variances and operational gaps.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve regional objectives.
  • Ensure practices maintain clean, organized, and professional environments.
  • Oversee and/or conduct month-end physical inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Conduct or ensure completion of safety audits across assigned locations.
  • Lead or support special projects and additional initiatives, as assigned.
