About The Position

This role provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by preparing and demonstrating products for customers in the store. The Demonstrator offers customers samples, explains the product, and makes suggestions for preparation.

Requirements

High school or equivalent experience.
Less than six months of similar or related work experience.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables.
Ability to do simple addition and subtraction; copying figures, counting and recording.
Ability to have increased contact with people, interview or advise people.
Must be physically able to perform light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; up to 10 pounds of force frequently; and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
Prepares a demonstration of a product for the customers in the store.
Offers customers samples of the product.
Explains the product and makes suggestions for preparation.
Organizes items needed to do demonstration.
Insures adequate supplies are available.
Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures and ensures the work area is always clean and neat.
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Stocks supplies needed for demonstration.
Assists in other areas of store as needed.
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.
