About The Position

The Demolition Supervisor/Foreman will lead and manage demolition and abatement crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within scope. This role involves overseeing all aspects of demolition, abatement, and site preparation for various project types, including government, military, industrial, and commercial. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and a deep understanding of construction safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain productivity under deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to pass background checks for military base access.
  • Must have the Real ID.
  • Must have a Driver’s License and ability to get into the company auto policy.
  • Ability to travel to assigned project sites throughout the DC/Baltimore area.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience leading crews in demolition, abatement, or construction environments.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while leading a team.
  • Familiarity with FieldFlo or similar field management technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage demolition and abatement crews ranging from 5–20 team members at the assigned project site.
  • Conduct daily morning huddles to review safety procedures, project goals, and crew assignments.
  • Coordinate with Assistant Operations Manager to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
  • Oversee demolition, abatement, and site preparation activities for government, military, industrial, and commercial projects.
  • Enforce all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations and ensure crew compliance at all times.
  • Interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders to execute tasks accurately.
  • Monitor crew productivity, quality of work, and job site organization throughout each phase of the project.
  • Communicate effectively with general contractors, crew members, subcontractors, site contacts, and management.
  • Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, and project progress updates.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles as needed to support field operations.
