About The Position
The Safety Manager will support a demolition contractor performing structural demolition work on a commercial building in Beverly Hills, CA. This role will focus on maintaining a safe work environment across all demolition activities, ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and company standards. The position requires active on-site presence during second shift operations, where the Safety Manager will oversee hazard identification, enforce safety protocols, and support crews working in a high-risk demolition setting. The individual will play a key role in preventing incidents and ensuring operational safety efficiency throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of demolition safety experience
- Ability to work second shift (2:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
- Ability to commit to a 4-day, 40-hour workweek schedule
- Strong knowledge of demolition safety practices, including hazard recognition, structural instability risks, and control measures associated with commercial building demolition.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, safety audits, and field-based enforcement of safety standards is essential for success in this role.
