Demo Engineer

Ashby•,
•$130,000 - $184,000

About The Position

Ashby is hiring its first Demo Engineer, a net-new role within Solutions Engineering responsible for making demo environments reliable, current, and tailored for the go-to-market team. The role builds on disposable demo templates being developed by the Internal Platform team, customizing and extending them, generating realistic demo data, adapting environments for specific verticals and markets, and ensuring features are demoable before release. The work is split approximately 70% across owning, customizing, and extending the demo template system and its data and content, and 30% across demo-readiness programming, including release readiness, documentation, and enablement. The role is hands-on and behind the scenes, using internal tools, configuration files, APIs, and data preparation to build systems that help the broader team work effectively. It reports to the Global Head of Solutions Engineering and partners closely with Internal Platform, Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams. Ashby builds recruiting software for talent leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers. The company describes itself as well funded and backed by investors including Y Combinator, Elad Gil, and Lachy Groom, with thousands of customers. Ashby is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and a fair, transparent hiring process. The company may use AI-driven tools to assist with screening, assessment, and candidate selection.
