About The Position

Kalman & Company is seeking to hire an experienced Demil Deputy Lead for an on-site position in Albany, GA. This role involves coordinating warehouse operations, managing demilitarization processes, and ensuring equipment maintenance. The Demil Deputy Lead will also support secondary missions and manage incinerator operations.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC Card.
• Intermediate MS Office Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Minimum of three years of warehouse operations experience.
• A minimum of one year of CBRN-D/Body Armor processing operations.
• A minimum of one year working with the EMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Warehouse Team Leader to stage processed gear for demil.
• Track, sort, and weigh individual shipments as required and annotate in tracker.
• Track and lead fabric saw operations to include: identify staffing needs, production, saw maintenance, and ensuring a first in/first out order for assets.
• Ensure the technicians are completing maintenance jackets, inspecting, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate with the Demil Team Lead to stage assets for shredding/demil.
• Be familiar with CBRN-D/Body Armor processing operations.
• Develop knowledge base of CBRND-IPE/ Body Armor material, including types, uses, shelf life and other criteria.
• Manage incinerator operations by conducting burns and recording load data in EMS.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Team Leader in realigning staff to areas needing support.
