Our Trinity Place community in Albemarle, NC, is seeking a Dementia Care Director to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to support residents in a senior living community while contributing to the mission of Lutheran Services Carolinas.

Requirements

• Must work well under pressure
• Must build positive relationships with residents
• Frequent walking and standing
• Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors as needed

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the dementia care program, including activities and compliance with state regulations.
• Coordinate dementia care education for staff.
• Act as a trusted resource for residents and families.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in dementia-specific care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
