About The Position

The Demand Science Rotational Program is a roughly 2-year program designed for recent graduates to gain in-depth experience in consumer insights and demand forecasting within a fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. The program includes three rotations within the Insights & Analytics organization, potentially covering areas such as Behavioral Science, Demand Forecasting, Predictive Science, Demand Planning, and Analytics and Capabilities. Participants will gain hands-on experience with various data sources, learn to partner with business process owners for process improvements, lead monthly forecasting processes, develop data-driven recommendations, and build capabilities in analytic approaches to predict demand. Coaching and guidance will be provided by a program leader, functional manager, and peer sponsor.

Requirements

  • Will complete Bachelor’s degree no later than June 2027
  • General understanding of business, financial concepts, and theory behind processes
  • Desire to be a leader and grow within the Insights & Analytics organization
  • Passion for data and problem solving with the ability to convert analytic results into value-added strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and can effectively analyze data, develop insights, and communicate recommendations through clear, compelling presentations
  • Proven leadership abilities (i.e. collaboration, influencing, agility & critical thinking, self-starting, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience synthesizing expansive catalog of data sources, including syndicated data, social listening, sales, and forecasting.
  • Learn how to partner with business process owners to analyze, design, and implement systematic processes and process improvements.
  • Discover how to lead monthly forecasting process by working with partners in sales, brand, supply chain, and finance to produce a forecast reflective of trends and future initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various Insights & Analytics professionals to create data-driven recommendations and stories to share and influence cross-functional business decisions.
  • Develop capabilities for analytic approaches that are used to sense, shape, and predict demand to drive superior marketplace relevance and success.
  • Receive coaching and guidance from a program leader, functional manager, and peer sponsor.
