About The Position

As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the demand forecast to improve end-to-end supply chain performance. You will leverage your strong analytical skills, proficiency in business intelligence reporting tools, ability to collaborate effectively across various functions, and experience with integrated business planning best practices to generate an optimal forecast. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing demand trends, generating insights, developing/refining key performance indicators, and driving performance improvements to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related field, with a focus on data analysis and integrated business planning
Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related field, with a focus on data analysis and integrated business planning
High school diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related field, with a focus on data analysis and integrated business planning

Responsibilities

Analyze historical sales, shipment, forecast, customer, promotional and market trend data to support accurate demand forecasts and identify changes in demand patterns, risks and opportunities.
Evaluate forecast accuracy, bias, forecast value add, promotional impacts, exception trends and planning adherence to diagnose performance gaps and support root-cause analysis.
Support formal ITP/IBP routines by preparing forecast performance insights, maintaining planning inputs, aligning key assumptions and contributing to cross-functional planning discussions.
Partner with key stakeholders to explain forecast drivers, resolve planning questions, align on actions and support business decision-making.
Audit and refine reports, dashboards and planning insights where appropriate to strengthen forecast quality tracking, surface demand risks/opportunities and provide recommendations that drive performance improvement.
Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes, document best practices, develop training materials and help implement standards that improve forecast quality and planning efficiency.
