About The Position

The Demand Planning Launch Coordinator is responsible for integration and coordination activities for new projects at Yancey Engineered Solutions, focusing on information sharing and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

  • Must have 3 – 5 years industry experience
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports and presentations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated success optimizing manufacturing and work processes and methods, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to hold teams accountable to meeting commitments and objectives and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Managing complex, voluminous and sometimes contradictory information to find strong solutions
  • Ability to help develop strategic direction for organization, communicate it effectively to key stakeholders, and implement changes needed to achieve the vision
  • Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
  • Ability to work in a team environment is essential to this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage integration of new project opportunities as released through Sales
  • Independently resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Responsible for establishing report cadence, and updates to senior leaders
  • Responsible as primary point of contact for new project information sharing
  • Lead cross functional Kickoff meetings with key stakeholders
  • Utilize dashboards / data to report new project status / progress
  • Assist in resolving production schedule conflicts through cross functional team alignment
  • Assist in maintaining planning schedule in accordance with future customer requirements
  • Work with cross functional teams in maintaining near/ mid / long term plans
  • Assist with Handover meetings for new projects
  • Ability to communicate with multiple disciplines
  • Analyze data, generate reports / presentations to convey large amounts of information
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
