About The Position

This role supports the development and execution of initial provisioning activities for fleet transactions, aircraft programs, fleet uplifts, and modifications by providing structured analysis, methodology, and decision support. The position contributes to building and applying a repeatable and defensible provisioning approach to assess spare parts requirements, financial exposure, and operational risk related to Entry Into Service (EIS), Engineering-driven changes, and fleet changes. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance Planning, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, PMO teams and Supply Chain, this role supports alignment of provisioning and sourcing considerations early in the program lifecycle by translating data and planning tool outputs into clear insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, sourcing support, or airline / MRO supply chain environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, define assumptions, and work effectively with incomplete data.
  • Understanding of inventory forecasting and supply planning principles, including operational and financial implications.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with supply chain modeling and forecasting tools (e.g., Servigistics, TRAX, ERP / MRP systems) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and consistently meet deadlines and commitments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical analysis into clear, concise insights for stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective working relationships across Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and PMO teams.
  • Comfort working in an environment characterized by ambiguity, evolving priorities, and complex decision contexts.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with supply chain modeling and forecasting tools (e.g., Servigistics, TRAX, ERP / MRP systems)

Responsibilities

  • Support initial provisioning activities for fleet introductions, fleet uplifts, and aircraft modification programs by providing structured analysis and data-driven recommendations.
  • Analyze spare parts requirements, surplus risk, and material readiness for Entry Into Service (EIS) across varying types of programs, including both major fleet initiatives and smaller-scale fleet transactions.
  • Support provisioning activities by evaluating demand requirements and validating assumptions in collaboration with Technical Operations teams.
  • Participate in Engineering-driven initiatives (e.g., Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other technical instructions) by assessing spare parts requirements and supporting sourcing activities.
  • Act as a Supply Chain representative in cross-functional coordination meetings to ensure material requirements are clearly defined, tracked, and aligned with execution timelines.
  • Support sourcing and procurement decisions by providing required data, validating parts requirements, and ensuring alignment between Engineering needs and execution teams.
  • Translate supply chain modeling and forecasting tool outputs into clear insights to support provisioning and sourcing decisions.
  • Prepare structured analysis and decision support material outlining risks, assumptions, and mitigation scenarios for review with stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and PMO teams.
  • Identify and escalate material risks impacting operational readiness (e.g., lead time constraints, supply delays, demand uncertainty), supporting the development of mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment between supply chain analysis and operational requirements.
  • Support the transition of provisioning activities into steady-state inventory management by ensuring data accuracy and clarity in demand signals.
  • Contribute to improving provisioning methodologies, tools, and data quality in environments with evolving or incomplete information.
  • Support financial analysis by consolidating demand, sourcing, and budget inputs to provide visibility on expected financial exposure and readiness risks for review by leadership.
