About The Position

The Demand Planner will develop demand forecasts and operational forecasts for different time horizons within the supply chain. This role involves reviewing historical sales trends and researching demand drivers to understand forecast drivers. The planner will utilize a collaborative approach by working with sales and marketing to obtain current and accurate information, using demand planning software as the primary forecast tool. They will provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies for new products and closely coordinate communication with customer action plans within the warehouse. The goal is to maintain best-in-class forecast accuracy levels and out-of-stock levels within the logistics process, while eliminating breakage, damage, and loss due to product age. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/ General Education Degree (GED) and 8 plus years specific experience
