We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytical Demand Planner to join our growing Inventory Forecasting team. Reporting to the National Purchasing Manager, you will own the demand forecast across multiple Distribution Centres in ANZ, helping to drive inventory performance, product availability, and fulfilment decisions across the business. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Category/Procurement, and Supply Planning teams to ensure forecasts are accurate, risks are identified early, and the business is aligned to one clear demand plan. Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Background in demand planning, managing a high volume and variety of products across multiple sites
  • Excellent attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive approach to challenges, with the initiative to implement solutions and improvements
  • Ability to prioritise, organise work, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP inventory and demand management systems
  • Tertiary qualification/degree in a relevant discipline

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple distribution centres in AUS/NZ
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Maintain high levels of communication with key stakeholders, partnering cross-functionally to align demand, supply, and planning
  • Manage product levels to budgeted value, stock days, and inventory turns
  • Monitor inventory health and identify risks related to excess stock or obsolescence
