About The Position

Oura is seeking an E-commerce Demand Planner to manage the direct-to-consumer (DTC) and e-commerce demand forecast, with a secondary focus on B2B demand planning. This role involves analyzing various factors such as traffic, conversion rates, marketing activities, historical demand, promotions, product launches, partner programs, and operational constraints to generate a clear, actionable forecast. The position operates at the intersection of Demand Planning, E-commerce, Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning, Operations, Marketing, and partner-facing teams, aiming to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory availability, and cross-functional decision-making within a rapidly growing, data-intensive business.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience preferred (calibrated with HR/Recruiting based on final level).
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Strong forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, and scenario-analysis capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce/DTC demand planning, demand forecasting, S&OP, supply chain planning, commercial planning, or a closely related function supporting physical products or demand-sensitive programs.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to translate traffic, conversion, marketing, sales, and operational inputs into a clear forecast and recommendation.
  • Ability to explain changes in forecast, the reasons for those changes, their timing, and recommended business actions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial or Sales, Finance, Supply Planning, Operations, Logistics, Product, Marketing, or RevOps teams.
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling and data-reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate clearly with both working teams and leadership.
  • High ownership of recurring planning deliverables, deadlines, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Comfort operating in an evolving environment where tools, data definitions, and processes are still maturing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI Tools (e.g., Claude, Lovable).
  • Experience with commercial pipeline, CRM data, partner programs, enterprise healthcare, employee benefits, or channel sales.
  • Experience with scenario planning, inventory constraints, product transitions, end-of-life planning, or allocation decisions.
  • Experience in a company transitioning from spreadsheet-based planning to a connected planning system.
  • Planning tools and BI platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the DTC/e-commerce demand forecast, encompassing traffic, conversion, marketing, seasonality, promotions, launches, product generation, SKU or finish/size mix, channel, region, and time period; support B2B forecast as a secondary scope.
  • Lead the recurring demand planning cadence, including collecting inputs, validating assumptions, updating the forecast, documenting risks and opportunities, and preparing materials for forecast sign-off and S&OP discussions.
  • Translate commercial pipeline and partner inputs into demand assumptions, considering deal timing, confidence levels, ramp-up shape, booking-to-shipment timing, expected fulfillment path, and likely product mix.
  • Maintain the DTC/e-commerce forecast by incorporating baseline demand, traffic, conversion, seasonality, promotions, marketing events, launches, channel mix shifts, availability constraints, and other demand drivers.
  • Support and improve the B2B planning process by translating deal and program expectations into product and SKU demand, with a focus on timing, mix, fulfillment, and data quality.
