About The Position

This role is responsible for order fulfillment and processing for assigned accounts. The Demand Inventory Planner will manage all activities related to accepting, processing, delivering, and billing customer orders. This includes communication with various departments such as Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, and factory personnel. The position requires weekly checking of customer demand data and processing orders within 24-48 hours, managing credit/debit memos, tooling orders, RMAs, and FOCs in SAP. It also involves planning shipping schedules with vendors, monitoring shipments, and timely billing based on incoterms. The role includes turning in BME data, monitoring actual sales for accuracy, and reporting risks and upsides. Effective communication with related departments is crucial for handling issues and supporting customer requests.

Requirements

  • College degree, Supply Chain Major preferred
  • 3-5 years preferred demand inventory planner exp / supply chain exp
  • SAP experience required
  • Excel experience required
  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Order fulfillment and processing assigned accounts.
  • Manage all activities to accept, process, deliver and bill customer orders including communication with other departments, Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, factory personnel, etc.
  • Check customer demand data weekly and process orders based on customer’s POs withing 24-48 hours.
  • Process credit/debit, tooling orders/RMA/FOC in SAP timely when needed.
  • Plan shipping schedule with vendors ( MTY and JP ) based on customer’s requests.
  • Reschedule if customer demand has changes.
  • Watch shipping as scheduled, and bill customer timely based on incoterms.
  • Turn in BME data beginning of the month and watch actual sales weekly for BME accuracy.
  • Report risk and upside timely.
  • Communicate with related departments to handle issues and support customer’s requests.
