About The Position

Manages customer requirements and demand from the start of concept through design, forecast, ordering, budgeting, production, receipt and shipment to ensure on time and accurate delivery to meet customers’ needs. Analyzes and manages demand streams on production ready devices and allocations of production material. Monitors and analyzes consumption and creates reports or dashboards. Acts as a liaison between internal/external customers and PMO, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of Demand Planning, Project Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations Planning, or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • APICS, Six Sigma, or PMP Certification.
  • 1+ year of experience with designing and developing within analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, COGNOS, Qlik View).
  • 1+ year of experience designing and developing within relevant systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Demantra, Rapid Response).
  • 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing demand for a product to track supply performance and inventory levels.
  • Helps to ensure on-time, accurate shipment and delivery to customer, with guidance.
  • Tracks the availability and distribution of production material to meet customer demand and commits new orders with a promise date according to policies and procedures.
  • Executes supply planning efforts, including maintenance of forecasting modules and plans of record.
  • Supports transition away from active production, component replacements, and product availability.
  • Performs basic analyses on consumption.
  • Reports consumption and demand variance.
  • Helps to communicate supply and delivery issues, including supply disruptions across the supply chain.
  • Gathers and analyzes basic data and information by region or customer from a variety of sources (e.g., budget forecasts, customer attach rates, supply vs. forecasted demand, supply vs. orders placed).
  • Identifies basic patterns or trends.
  • Creates reports for one's area of responsibility.
  • Collaborates with individuals inside own team to complete the team's work.
  • Executes individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, following established processes with supervision.
  • Adapts to moderate changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
