About The Position

Join a dynamic, remote-first team as a Delphix Data Masking Engineer. In this senior-level role, you’ll architect, implement, and drive innovative data masking solutions across enterprise environments. You will play a vital part in protecting sensitive data and ensuring regulatory compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data security for non-production systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in data protection, encryption, or related roles
Hands-on expertise with Delphix data masking and virtualization tools, including custom algorithm development
Proficiency in encryption technologies such as Oracle TDE, SQL Server encryption, and TLS configurations

Nice To Haves

Strong leadership and project management capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Oracle Database Security

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and configure Delphix data masking and virtualization solutions across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2 environments
Develop, customize, and optimize masking algorithms for sensitive data types including PII, PHI, and PCI
Create templates, rulesets, and policies to establish repeatable, enterprise-wide data masking processes
Monitor and troubleshoot Delphix masking engines; analyze logs and resolve incidents swiftly
Ensure all masking and virtualization techniques align with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and enterprise security standards
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
Maintain comprehensive documentation for masking processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures
