About The Position
General Shale, the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a professional Delivery Truck Driver to join their distribution team in Manassas, VA. This is a stable, year-round opportunity delivering masonry materials to jobsites throughout the region. Drivers are home every night.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Forklift/Moffett experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver and unload products using a forklift/Moffett
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Perform material handling and general yard responsibilities
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Maintain compliance with all safety and transportation regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
