About The Position

Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for a delivery truck driver. This individual operates vehicles to transport small and medium sized equipment for the dealership. The delivery truck driver may instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.

Requirements

Hold a valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
Chauffeurs Class D
Must pass a DOT medical exam
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using hands and fingers to operate a computer and/or telephone effectively.
Skilled in operating various types of equipment to safely load, unload, secure, and bind equipment to a trailer in compliance with DOT regulations and guidelines.
Requires specific vision abilities, including the capacity to read words or numbers on computer screens and printed materials clearly.
Occasionally lift items weighing up to 75 pounds, ensuring proper handling techniques are used for safety.

Responsibilities

Efficiently transport parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, securing necessary signatures and receipts to uphold accountability.
Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company policies by maintaining required certifications.
Take pride in keeping assigned trucks and related equipment in excellent condition, promoting safety and reliability.
Monitor and record travel times and distances to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
Assist with the setup of equipment and Mass Channel units as needed, contributing to team productivity.
Help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of new and used equipment, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments as needed, fostering a supportive team environment.
