About The Position

Sundae TM is looking for a candidate to join their positive and ambitious team for a temporary delivery truck driver position. This role involves safely delivering food products, including ice cream, in a timely manner with a smile. The position is temporary, estimated to be 6-12 weeks, with potential for continued employment for the right fit. The company is seeking individuals with a logistics-focused mindset who can handle the responsibilities of driving a non-CDL refrigerated box truck and ensuring food safety and product quality standards are met.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Morning availability preferred.
Able to safely operate, drive, and park a non-cdl refrigerated truck.

Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles, including a NON-CDL refrigerated box truck through various weather and traffic conditions, always obeying all company vehicle procedures, traffic signs, signals and traffic laws.
Distribute inventory and supplies to and from various Sundae locations from Snowmass Village to Vail.
Handle, pack, move, and stock various food products, making sure food safety and product quality standards are consistently met.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies transfers by following all company logistic procedures.
Adjust schedules and priorities as needed to ensure timely delivery; creatively solve and communicate distribution-related issues.
Perform daily vehicle checks and complete light vehicle maintenance, such as adding air to tires & adding fluids, to confirm vehicle is operating properly.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, facilities and delivery related equipment.
Generate positive interactions with co-workers, customers and the general public through professionalism and knowledge of our brand standards and processes.
May have an occasional opportunity to learn and contribute to various repair and maintenance responsibilities.
