About The Position

Northern Pharmacy and Medical Equipment, Inc. is seeking a confident, clear-communicating, and organized Delivery Supervisor to lead their delivery and dispatch team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coaching people, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The supervisor will be the main point of contact for delivery and dispatch operations, including driver schedules and routing, and will be responsible for ensuring all customer deliveries are accurate, efficient, and on time. They will also lead and support the delivery team using Paylocity for scheduling, PTO, and performance tracking, manage the vehicle fleet by scheduling maintenance and collaborating with repair vendors, and work closely with Pharmacy, Warehouse, and Long-Term Care departments to meet customer needs. Additionally, the role involves tracking performance, delivery metrics, and expenses, and providing ongoing coaching, training, and encouragement to foster a positive culture.

Requirements

  • Age 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (0 points).
  • Experience in logistics or transportation management—you know how to lead a delivery operation.
  • Familiarity with Maryland ZIP codes and routing (yes, Baltimore traffic counts as a skill).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Tech-savvy: comfortable with Microsoft Office and Paylocity; routing software experience (Elite Extra, RxMile) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the point person for our delivery and dispatch operations—driver schedules, routing, all the moving parts.
  • Ensure that every customer delivery is accurate, efficient, and on time.
  • Lead and support your delivery team using Paylocity for scheduling, PTO, and performance tracking.
  • Keep our vehicle fleet running smoothly by scheduling maintenance and collaborating with repair vendors.
  • Collaborate daily with Pharmacy, Warehouse, and Long-Term Care to ensure deliveries meet customer needs.
  • Track performance, delivery metrics, and expenses like a champ.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and encouragement—a positive culture starts with leadership.
