About The Position

This role is responsible for scheduling and routing product deliveries, coordinating fleet maintenance, updating customers on delivery statuses, and ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities

• Schedule and route product deliveries.
• Ensure trucks are not overloaded and loads are within standard weight limits.
• Assess job site delivery requirements and assign appropriate delivery vehicles.
• Resolve vehicle safety issues by routing vehicles for repairs.
• Keep customers informed of delivery status.
• Ensure all OSHA and federal road procedures are followed.
• Participate in the hiring of drivers and material handlers, and manage their performance.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Schedule new equipment training for drivers and ensure they are certified.
• Ensure drivers' CDL licenses are current and inform them of upcoming renewals for licenses or medical cards.
