The Delivery Service Manager will be responsible for developing and managing processes related to recruiting, training, coaching, and retaining driver and support staff to ensure adequate workflow and synergies. This role also focuses on developing and refining an exceptional customer delivery experience, proactively mediating and resolving customer concerns, controlling expenses, and implementing safety programs. The manager will conduct routine audits of delivery staff, evaluate and document work performance, and meet with personnel to communicate issues and new processes. Collaboration with the Warehouse Operations Manager to improve product flow and the continuous review and amendment of delivery staff job descriptions are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, the manager will enforce disciplinary measures and assist HR with maintaining discipline files.
