Delivery Route Truck Driver - Class A / Class B CDL
About The Position
Toft Dairy is seeking a full-time CDL Class A or B Delivery Driver to safely deliver Toft Dairy products while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety standards, and positive customer relationships while operating within DOT regulations. The driver will operate assigned routes, deliver milk and ice cream products, load and unload products using pallet jacks and hand carts, and maintain proper product handling to meet food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities also include completing route paperwork, conducting vehicle inspections, following DOT regulations, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Customer service is paramount, requiring professional and courteous interactions, building positive relationships, and addressing issues promptly. The role is physically demanding, involving frequent climbing in and out of the truck, extended periods of sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling loaded equipment, and working in cold environments and varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with current medical card
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience driving a 10-speed manual transmission required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company policies
- Strong work ethic with a dependable and positive attitude

Responsibilities
