About The Position

A Delivery Route Driver drives a company van/truck to deliver and unload paint and paint-related products to different locations. The role involves recording transactions, delivery information, collecting empty containers, loading and unloading the truck, issuing receipts, cleaning the inside of the truck, performing routine maintenance, and completing logs. Additionally, when not making deliveries, the driver will assist the store manager with various duties such as helping customers, restocking inventory, tinting paint, and cleaning.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
1 - 2 years' driving experience
Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Employees are also subject to random drug testing.

Responsibilities

Drives van or truck to deliver paint and paint-related products to customer's place of business.
Records transactions on customer receipt.
Records delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
Loads and unloads truck.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Cleans inside of truck.
Ensures routine maintenance is performed on truck.
Completes mileage log and maintenance log on truck.
Repetitive lifting of weights of 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of weights of over 70 lbs.
When not making deliveries, assist store manager with any duties that may be assigned, which include, but are not limited to: assisting customers, re-stocking inventory, tinting of paint, cleaning etc.
Other miscellaneous tasks, as required.
