The Delivery Professional provides outstanding customer service delivering a quality product safely and efficiently while representing the company in a friendly and professional manner. This team member is the face of the company and primary point of contact for our customers.

Requirements

Class B CDL with airbrakes

Responsibilities

Provides outstanding customer service delivering a quality product safely and efficiently.
Represents the company in a friendly and professional manner.
Wears appropriate safety equipment at all times.
Thoroughly performs required daily vehicle inspections.
Drives defensively, using principles and techniques of defensive driving.
Remains alert at all times, keeping mindful of all potential hazards.
Handles and places materials on customer jobsites in a way that is both safe and which maximizes customer convenience.
Minimizes or eliminates damage to the jobsite and equipment.
Is responsible for the condition of materials delivered to the jobsite and should immediately report any defects.
Immediately reports any issues that may impact company interests.
Records all appropriate information, including any exceptional events, on the delivery ticket.
Secures a customer signature on the delivery ticket when crossing areas that could be damaged.
Works safely within allotted time standards for deliveries.
Focuses on efficiency while prioritizing safety.
Communicates any situations where a delivery will take longer than expected.
Uses the quickest or best legal truck route for the conditions and time of day.
Communicates necessary changes to driving directions if they are not the best, quickest, or safest legal truck route.
Seeks to fulfill all customer needs that do not infringe upon principles of safety or integrity.
Maintains a cheerful and pleasant attitude toward customers with a sense of urgency.
Makes the customer’s job as easy as possible, within the bounds of safety and common sense.
Avoids confrontation with the customer and reports any problems with customers.
Is well groomed, dressed in accordance with company policy, and in good mental and physical condition.
Keeps their truck in a clean, well-maintained, safe condition at all times.
Helps keep the plant and yard clean and neat when requested.
Assists with other projects as required.
