About The Position

The Delivery Owner is an emerging squad-facing role within the Delivery Management track of Technology & Data Delivery Enablement, ensuring predictable delivery for an Agile squad(s). This role ensures predictable execution, proactive dependency management, and continuous evolution of ways of working. While evolving beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities, this role remains deeply rooted in Agile values with coaching at its core. This position operates within a culture of agility, accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement. As an emerging practitioner, this role has the opportunity to make contributions to Communities of Practice, to help establish delivery standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, or related role
• Foundational understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Eagerness to learn delivery management practices and AI-enabled tools

Nice To Haves

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery tools
• Exposure to software development lifecycle
• Interest in AI-enabled workflows and tools
• Experience in financial services, technology, or data-intensive environments

Responsibilities

• Ensure definition of ready/done and release criteria are consistently applied
• Maintain squad-level accountability, modeling best practices within your assigned squad
• Ensure squad meets delivery commitments; drive predictability, throughput, and quality metrics
• Create transparency in delivery health; provide honest assessments and escalate risks with options and solutions
• Implement AI-enabled practices including AI-assisted planning, automated status updates, and intelligent dependency mapping
• Champion AI literacy and responsible AI use within delivery management
• Share learnings with peers and contribute to delivery practice evolution
• Enable squad-level delivery rituals, escalation protocols, and forums rooted in Agile principles
• Keep roadmaps, backlogs, capacity plans, and forecasts synchronized and actionable
• Lead retrospectives that identify systemic improvements; drive cross-squad improvement initiatives
• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement
• Participate in Agile Delivery Center of Excellence and Communities of Practice
• Share innovations and lessons learned with peers
